Come join us at the 2024 Texas Preteen Camp for fun-filled days in the summer sun, making friends and learning about God’s wonderful way of life! In the heart of the
pinewoods of East Texas, Lone Star Camp serves as a beautiful facility with air-conditioned meeting rooms, dormitories, cabins, and family housing, all with private
bathroom and shower facilities. The large gymnasium hosts indoor courts, as well as a number of classrooms. There is also a 25-acre lake, which provides a lovely
setting, and pairs nicely with the 25-meter pool! Hone your skills and learn a few new ones, as you enjoy the wide variety of activities, music, sports, games,
of course, the ever-popular Fun Show!

Camper: Ages 8-12

Mini-campers and Sibling Campers
The purpose of the mini-camp and sibling camper programs is for situations where both guardians of a child will be at camp, and must therefore bring their
under-or-over camper-aged child to camp.
Please note for Staff Applicants: Previous experience as an LYC camper or staff member would be helpful. Age, experience, and interests will be considered where
possible in staff placement. Additionally, staff members who must bring their older or younger non-camper age children must submit applications for each and will
be charged application and tuition fees.
Activities
Activities this year will include: Archery, Aquatics, Paddle Boarding, Ga-Ga Ball, and more!
Dates
Staff Arrival: Monday, July 22 - between 10:00am and noon
Camper Arrival: Monday, July 22 - between noon and 5:00pm
Departure: Friday, July 26 - before noon
Note:If you will also been attending the LYC Teen Camp immediately prior to the Preteen camp, you are able to stay "On-site" between the two events.

Note: Application fees are non-refundable and are due with the application. Tuition fees are due after acceptance, closer to the time of camp.

Airport Information
Airport transfers will be provided from Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW), Dallas Love Field (DAL) or Tyler Pounds Regional Airport (TYR).
Airport transportation fees: $25.00 each way.
Deadline
Applications will be accepted until June 1st, although may close earlier if the camp fills. After that date applications may be accepted on a case by case basis.

Cancellation / Refund Policy
All refunds for cancellations are given at the sole discretion of the camp director on a case-by-case basis. In general, once you have been accepted to camp, and the registration period has closed (whichever
comes last) no refunds will be given.
